DO WE WILL HAVE ACCESS TO THE OLYMPIC VILLAGE?
The access it's very restrict,with very defined rules.What we will do in the Olympic Village it's a Chaplain working under the responsability of The Baptist Church of Recreio.The chaplain will be responsable for everyone that are involved with the work.The other opportunities will take place in parallel events.
HOW WILL WORK THE HOSPITALITY AND THE TRANSPORT ON THE REGION?
We are getting in contact with churches that will support us on this.We are expecting about 280 teams,being supported by an average of 280 curches.
THE TEAM WILL STAY IN A CITY?
The 92 cityies are divided in 14 districts.To reach all the state we need to divide in a strategist way.Big cityies need more than one team,while a unique team can work in some small and next cities.The YWAM Rio is preparing a doccument,based on a huge research,about each city,realized during the first semester of 2006,to make the work more effective.The teams can choose by locality or work area.
THE TEAM HAS TO SERVE ON THE 3 MONTHS OF THE PROJECT?
We are challenging the volunteer teams to serve the 3 months of the project,getting involved with acts on the cities and during the games,work at the capital.But,if is possible,we are asking the teams to serve unless 3 weeks,during the Coference and on the game's period(from 06 until july 29).
WHICH IS THE DATE OF THE PAN AMERICANS?
From 13 until july 29.Will be 5.000 athletes,from 42 nations,competing in 42 modalities.
WHICH IS THE EXPECTED RESULT OF THE PROJECT PAN RIO 2007?
92 cityies:Uncentralize the relationships from the capital to all the state.Get to know the local reality of each city and to genarate a interaction of invectives.To spread out the plan of Biblical salvation to 150.000 people on the state.
Games:To spread out the plan of salvation to 225.000 people.
EXPO 4:To dialogue with 24.000 people about how can the city include the 4 values in their day by day.
Public acts:To genarate a conscience in the society and also in the Body of Cristh of their part in the disired changes.

-The work of the 280 teams in the 14 regions:From may until june 280 teams will work at the 92 cities and in the month of july will be displaced to the city of Rio de Janeiro.
-Missionary Conference:Programed to recieve 7.000 people,will star the work of the project in the city of Rio de Janeiro in the games' places on the Pan-American Village and in the city.Than we will receive the orientation to the work of the 280 teams in the games' time(13 until july 29,2007).
-Public acts:Each public act will be centralized in a value of influence.We will be placing around 10.000 people on the streets proclaming in a criative way each one of the 4 valeus.One act will happen a less before the beginnig of the games and the 3 others during the games.
-EXPO4: Will be the creation of a place during the games,to dialogue about responsability,inclusion,invective and diversity and redifine these concepts and their practicity in the solution of the society's problems.
-Manual of prayer for Rio de Janeiro:100 days of prayer for the state of Rio de Janeiro-Beginnig in march 1,2007.

WHAT ARE THE CURRENT NEEDS?
People that are specialized to develop each area.The main one is comunication,specialy in other languages(english and spanish).A comunication net would facilitate this process.We also need finances to get viability in the operational,as in the Public Acts,Prayer manual and the EXPO 4.If you want to help,but you aren't identify with one of these needs,get in contact with us.We can talk about some other needs where your help is very welcome.
WHAT ABOUT THE EXPENSES FOR THE TEAMS?
The budget of the event is in the final fase.The expenses will be informed righ after we finish,this are already been done by the coordenators of the regions who will viabilize the logistic aera for the teams and also the costs for the events during the games' days.
ONLY YWAM TEAMS ARE WELCOME?
For sure,no.YWAM is serving in the operational area of the project,but we want that it would be a partnership between the most big number of people who believe in these objectives and want to get together for a common goal,reaching all the areas.If you already have a team or want to make one,get in contact with us!
